Seed Identification Help Required

Postby tgrant76 on Sun Apr 13, 2008 7:52 pm

Hi - i am new to this forum - sorry if I am posting in the wrong place - I have been searching hundreds of sites looking to get some clue as to what seed I have. I am not 100% sure where it originated or if I could even germinate it due to the fact that I have owned it as my 'lucky' seed for over 15 years.

It is the same colour as a Hazlenut or Conker. It is round in shape but flat. It is approximately 1.5 inches diameter and about quarter of an inch deep. It has a smooth feel all over and is one colour (unlike the conker that has the white patch)

I am moving abroad this year and thought that due to moving to a warmer climate than the UK I would try and germinate it, but before doing this I thought I would try and do the responsible thing of researching what I might be attempting to grow.

If ANYONE can help me I would really appreciate your help

Kindest Regards

Tanya
